Who we are
This project began during my training as a radiation therapy student with a strong background in science and clinical practice. On my first day learning to operate the drive console, I quickly noticed how uncomfortable prolonged use was on my fingers—especially for me, having residual finger discomfort from years of playing basketball.
Wanting to improve comfort and reduce strain, I began designing and 3D printing a simple ergonomic tool to support a more natural hand position. With valuable feedback and input from practicing radiation therapists, the design was refined to better fit real clinical workflows and ergonomic needs.
This tool was created to share a small but meaningful improvement with fellow therapists—helping reduce hand fatigue and the risk of occupational strain during daily clinical work.
